The triangular shape is interesting because military aircraft have right angles and symmetry. Natural or conventional objects don't usually look that deliberately geometric unless someone's built...

Respectfully, mate, there are a lot of explanations here. Tiredness at 3:47 AM after a shift? Your watch could've been broken.

So I've been reading about Spring-heeled Jack - the Victorian era cryptid that terrorized London in the 1830s-40s - and it strikes me that we don't really have equivalent modern phenomena.
Upload the video or share a link. Can't give proper analysis without actually seeing it. Most "UFO footage" that gets passed around has artifacts or is deliberately misleading, but some is...

The woman next to me looked at me very oddly, then got off at the next stop even though she was reading a book like she was staying on. That detail is interesting.

Welcome! Fair warning: once you start really engaging with this stuff, you start seeing patterns everywhere. Might want to keep a journal of odd occurrences from now on.

I live in London so light pollution is mental This is your real limiting factor, not budget. The ISS and bright satellites are visible even from central London.

I'm still not entirely sure what I saw but I need to write this down properly because I keep replaying it in my head and it's doing my head in.The incident: Halloween night, 31st October 2023.
I've had success with the SLS camera actually. Yeah, it's infrared and technically just shows heat signatures, but when you get patterns that don't match anything in the room? That's something.

Chemist here too (Cambridge). Always found it interesting how many of us in scientific fields end up believing in the unexplained. Can't wait to hear your story properly.

The teenage daughter connection is very relevant here. Poltergeist activity does statistically cluster around adolescence, particularly in cases with psychological stress (exam pressure, family...

There's actually a minor subreddit dedicated to London Underground "glitches" - people reporting similar temporal distortions, stations appearing different, missing time.
The puncture mark is the only concrete thing here. Take a photo of it and monitor for any strange characteristics - unusual scars, marking that moves, unexplained bruising.

This came across my feed and I wanted to get the Quirk Reports take on it before I dismiss it out of hand.
Great question! For £50, grab a pair of 10x50 binoculars (Celestron does decent ones around £35-40) and download Stellarium (free app) and Sky View (free on mobile).

I did a sensitivity scan there two years ago and picked up some residual electromagnetic disturbance around the memorial area, but that could be modern infrastructure.

Welcome Sarah! That Channel 4 doc was brilliant - really opened a lot of people's eyes. Don't worry about being judged here. We've all had moments where we question our sanity.
