Not my area either (ley lines and ghost stuff is more my thing) but triangular craft over Phoenix does ring a bell - there's quite a history there going back to the 97 Phoenix Lights incident.
Honestly this has been on my mind for a while. I've only been doing EVP work for about a year so I don't have loads of recordings to compare but I did notice my session from last October - the one...
That dog behaviour would have me on edge straight away. Animals pick up on things we can't and when they refuse to go somewhere they normally would, that means something.
Did it sound like it was...
Eight feet is massive isn't it, like well beyond what any known animal in North America could explain away as a misidentification.
Has anyone looked into whether there are any ley lines running through that part of Nottinghamshire?
@MoonlitDark142 that's fascinating - staircases do seem to crop up constantly in these reports don't they?
LondonGhost: I do paranormal walks for tourists (it's a living) and I've got dozens of reports from various stations.
Bring an EMF meter if you've got one (or hire one, they're like £30 rental). Even if you're skeptical about the results, it's good for documenting baseline readings.
The best bit was honestly the physicist explaining why certain electromagnetic readings could produce hallucinations.
Current hot topics are the recent triangle sightings over Manchester, the poltergeist activity clusters in Essex, and ongoing Rendlesham analysis.
Long Melford nearby is lovely and has good pubs and restaurants. The Crown is decent for a decent pint and meal. There's also loads of medieval architecture around there which is worth seeing.
The footage itself has been analyzed to death. Some analyses suggest it's a guy in a suit, others suggest the proportions are wrong for a human in a suit.
Did you get any photographs? That would be useful. Borley is complicated because of its history (hoaxes, confirmed fraud in the original investigations) but recent activity does seem genuine.
The electronics thing is wild. Keep a log of it - dates, times, what devices are affected, how they fail.
The boundary between cryptozoology and animal biology is blurry. If someone discovered a breeding population of legitimate Scottish wildcats, that's biology and conservation.
