Honestly this has been on my mind for a while. I've only been doing EVP work for about a year so I don't have loads of recordings to compare but I did notice my session from last October - the one I did out near Rivington Pike - picked up something really distinct and that was about two days after the full moon. Could be coincidence obviously.
Does anyone know if theres actually a theory behind this or is it more of a general observation people have noticed over time? I've read bits about lunar cycles affecting psychic sensitivity but I didn't know if that extended to actual recorded phenomena as well. Like does the moon genuinely influence whatever conditions allow EVP to come through more clearly, or are we just more attuned ourselves and picking up on things we'd normally dismiss?
Would love to hear from people who have proper long term recordings they can compare. Months or years worth. That kind of data would really help show whether this is a real pattern.
