It's nearly November, the dark nights are settling in proper, and I'm gearing up for serious investigation season.

So I was genuinely joking when I made my last post about stuff moving in my flat, but it got me thinking: has anyone ever actually tried to claim paranormal activity on their home insurance?
Could be temporal lobe epilepsy causing fugue state, or dissociation. Those can cause missing time and false memories of experiences that didn't happen.

You've basically described every skeptic's flow chart. Don't get me wrong, some of these explanations are legitimate sometimes.

Quality thread. Also missing: "Thermal imaging 'evidence' that is definitely just a radiator but you'll debate for 6 hours" and "Found a random object and immediately assumed it's a spirit...

Got the Fluke ages ago and honestly, it's wasted on ghost hunting. Brilliant piece of kit but you're paying for features you'll never use. Go with the Bosch or Etekcity.

Do you have specific criteria for what counts as a 'genuine' EVP? This is the right question. My criteria: (1) Multiple listeners hear the same thing independently, (2) The voice quality is...

Actually, there's a fascinating bit in one of the lesser-known declassified documents where it mentions radiation detection equipment being deployed.
Right, so I've been down the research rabbit hole on Borley Rectory (as you do on a Thursday night with a decent ale), and I've noticed something odd.
