Right, been reading your posts for about three years now and finally thought I'd stop being a coward and actually make an account. I'm Chris, 34, work in IT (thrilling, I know) and I've had a few odd experiences over the years that I've never really talked about properly. Nothing massive, but enough to make me think there's more going on than what we're told.

Bit of background: grew up in Salford, spent most of my twenties convinced I was just imagining things. Then about five years ago something happened that I can't explain, and I've been quietly researching ever since. Found this community about eighteen months ago and honestly, it's been brilliant seeing other people describe things that match what I've experienced.

Looking forward to chatting with you lot. Fair warning though - I'm a bit of a skeptic even about paranormal stuff (weird, I know), so if I ask questions it's because I'm genuinely curious, not trying to be a wind-up merchant. Cheers!

Welcome aboard, Chris! Always good to have another Manc in the community. The skeptical approach is actually really refreshing - we get a lot of true believers on here and honestly some of them need someone asking the hard questions. Definitely share your story when you're ready. We don't bite (most of us anyway 😄).

IT background? You'll fit right in here mate, half our technical discussions about EMF meters and recording equipment are run by people in software. Keen to hear what happened to you five years ago whenever you feel like sharing.

Welcome! Just a heads up - we've got a few folks who get quite heated about certain topics (Rendlesham Forest always kicks things off). Just keep your cool and you'll be fine. Looking forward to your contributions.
