Just an observation, but I've noticed that both on this forum and in my personal experience, paranormal reports seem to cluster around September through November.
The old Underground stations are fascinating but they're also just acoustically weird. The tunnel structure and the age of the architecture means sounds carry strangely, you get echoes that seem...

"Mice. It's always mice." should be the tagline for 60% of paranormal investigation shows honestly. How many poltergeists are actually just vermin?

If you're organizing this, I'm interested in joining. I've got some decent EMF meters and a thermal camera that might pick up something if there's unusual activity.

This is why I live in a modern new-build. Zero paranormal activity, zero personality, zero chance of explaining anything mysterious to skeptics. Trade-off I'm willing to make.

I'd suggest reporting this to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) UK section. They've got researchers specifically tracking Cornish sightings.

The radiator one got me proper laughing. I once convinced myself my flat was haunted for a week before realizing the heating system was just incredibly poorly balanced.

Or am I building a false narrative around an old, creepy building because old buildings are inherently creepy? Honestly, this.

King's Cross is still dealing with repairs after that major fire scare a few months back. Could be related to rewiring. Might be worth checking TfL's maintenance schedule for that week.

This is genuinely creepy. The delayed response is the interesting bit - if it was just echoes, it would be instant or barely noticeable.

The London Underground has an absolutely massive amount of paranormal lore attached to it. Probably because it's literally a network of tunnels beneath the oldest city in Britain, many built on...

If you hear it again, try recording it on your phone even if you can't identify the source. Audio evidence is better than description.

Could be a community event or gathering in the area? This is actually the most sensible suggestion. Rural areas near Hebden Bridge definitely have people doing seasonal rituals, outdoor...

Dozmary Pool area is historically significant - there's the Arthurian connection, the fact that it's been a pilgrimage site for centuries.

This is interesting because several people noticed it, which rules out personal hallucination No it doesn't. Shared expectations and social proof cause mass misidentification all the time.

This is interesting because several people noticed it, which rules out personal hallucination or trick of the light affecting one person.

I wasn't there that night but I was on Bodmin in early October and saw something similar. Single white light, no sound, moved in a way that seemed intelligent.
