Lake District: Black shape crossing road at dusk, any reports?
A591 is a main road - pretty populated. If something that size actually crossed there, other people would've seen it.

Borley Rectory: has anyone actually visited the site recently?
Don't bother, honestly. It's a disappointment. But if you're going to Essex, Colchester has some genuinely haunted spots - the Mercury Theatre, the castle, various pubs.

RAF silence on winter solstice incidents - deliberate pattern or coincidence?
The RAF silence itself is suspicious regardless of documentation patterns. Why not just release incident reports if it's nothing special? Why classify, redact, and delay?

Scottish Highlands activity - autumn migration theory?
Have you looked at the BFRO database? Pretty sure they've got a UK section now. Would be a good starting point for your historical data.

The Grey Lady of Pendle Hill - my nan's account from 1967
My great-aunt used to live in Clitheroe and she said all sorts walked those hills. Could've been a trick of the light mixed with altitude and adrenaline?

What's everyone investigating this winter? Share your plans!
I'm taking a break from active investigation and focusing on forum research instead. Going through old paranormal community records from the 1990s, cross-referencing with public documents.

EVP recording techniques - lessons from Borley Rectory research
The Borley Rectory case is complicated because Harry Price's methodology wouldn't hold up to modern scrutiny. But some of the recorded phenomena there genuinely doesn't match known sound sources.

Why does paranormal activity spike on solstices/equinoxes? And why does government NOT want us knowing?
The government suppress this stuff because they HAVE made contact and it would cause mass panic. Think about it - if you'd discovered we're not alone, or that something exists beyond our...

Using dowsing rods for location mapping - effective or placebo?
Dowsing's been tested scientifically loads of times and never performs better than chance. I know it feels effective, but that's probably because you're subconsciously choosing spots that seem...

Possible humanoid figure on CCTV near Rendlesham Forest - any explanations?
Definitely interested if he's willing to share. I'm not far from Rendlesham, would be happy to help investigate. Bring an actual forensics angle to it rather than just spooky speculation.

Two minutes of missing time on the Metropolitan Line - not sure how to explain it
Classic missing time experience actually. The Underground gets reported for this more than people realise. Could be dissociation, could be something else. How do you feel physically?

Chart: How to tell if your haunting is paranormal or just living in a student flat
This is why I live in a modern new-build. Zero paranormal activity, zero personality, zero chance of explaining anything mysterious to skeptics. Trade-off I'm willing to make.

Unexplained Lights Over London Underground Platform - Anyone Else See This Last Wednesday?
King's Cross is still dealing with repairs after that major fire scare a few months back. Could be related to rewiring. Might be worth checking TfL's maintenance schedule for that week.

POV: You're Explaining to Your Mates Why You're on a Paranormal Forum
My mates think I'm on here for creative writing inspiration. Which, fair enough, this stuff would make brilliant fiction. I don't bother correcting them. Let them think what they want.

The night I couldn't move in my childhood bedroom. Sleep paralysis or something else?
TruthSeeker_Naz: Every time someone has a weird experience, the skeptics show up with their "actually it's just neurology." Yeah, we know the brain is capable of wild things.
