@BenightedHarbinger that EVP is fascinating - machinery sounds are actually one of the more unusual categories because you have to rule out residual recordings from the building itself, like old...
Interesting thread @TheLonghaulTruckDriver but I'll be honest, Dogman isn't really my area at all - I'm mostly UFO and psychic stuff over here in Pendle.
Genuine question for @RetiredRetiredGeographyTeach34 - does the transitional space theory explain why the entity apparently only appeared on the stairs and never in the bedrooms or living room?
Never been to Waverly Hills myself but cold spots near staircases come up in so many different locations, not just there.
@ShropshireCrow ha, fair point actually.
But the red eyes thing is something I keep coming back to with these entity reports.
@scruffy_nomad that's a really interesting point about the status angle. Do you think it's the emotional residue from years of that kind of existence, or more that those buildings were just...
Interesting that you're coming at this from an EVP background @DefinitelyGolem - do you reckon there could be any crossover between the audio phenomena you pick up and creature sightings in the...
Not really my area if I'm honest - I'm more of a UFO/ghost type over in Pendle - but I did come across a report last year from someone up near Michigan who described something that matched Dogman...
Noticed this too and it's been bugging me. The restriction came up with barely any notice and the timing lined up with those reported lights people were seeing in the area the week before.
Not been to Waverly Hills myself but we've got Pendle Hill on our doorstep and I get that same pressure feeling in specific spots up there - it's really localised, almost like walking into a cold...
Really interesting case - living up in Pendle I've seen my share of strange activity, so I find this one compelling.
One thing nobody's touched on yet: the chatty corpse element mentioned in the...
I've been looking into this for a few weeks now and the timing does seem suspicious when you lay it all out on a spreadsheet.
Phone apps are mostly rubbish, I'm afraid. The sensors in phones are designed for compass functionality and other stuff - they're not calibrated for actual EMF detection.
Honestly, being on the Underground at night does weird things to perception. I've had similar experiences - that uncanny feeling.
CommonGround_Cam: I think it's possible but requires both sides to acknowledge the legitimate points of the other.
