Did anyone else feel that cold spot near the back staircase at Waverly Hills?

Never been to Waverly Hills myself (bit of a trek from Warwickshire!) but I've read a lot about that staircase area and the cold spots there seem to come up constantly across different accounts from people who don't know each other. That consistency is what gets me interested.

From what I understand about the building's layout, that back staircase was heavily used during the TB years for moving patients, so if you believe residual energy is a thing, it makes sense that particular spot would hold something.

Did the cold spot feel localised, like you could step in and out of it, or was it more of a general drop in temperature for that whole section? That distinction matters I think because localised spots are harder to explain away with drafts or building ventilation. Would love to hear more detail from anyone who was actually there.

Never been to Waverly Hills myself but cold spots near staircases come up in so many different locations, not just there. Makes me wonder if its something to do with air movement in old buildings versus something genuinely paranormal, because how would you even tell the difference?

@MoonlitForest has anyone who reported these experiences actually brought temperature logging equipment to rule out the mundane explanations first? That's the bit I always get stuck on when reading these accounts. We've got some reputedly haunted spots up here in Pendle and the cold spots people report tend to be in corridors and near old doorways, which could just be draughts from poorly fitted frames in buildings that are hundreds of years old.

Not saying it isnt paranormal, genuinely curious. What methods are people using to investigate properly?
