@BolshyHeron the Wales connection is interesting actually. We get similar reports here in Hampshire fairly regularly and the descriptions always match up - jet black, shoulder height way above...

Didn't see it myself - I'm over in Hampshire so a bit far out - but my mate who does sky watching in the States sent me a message about something matching that description around the same time.

The alien abduction experience is so consistent across cultures and time periods that either it's: A) a genuine phenomenon, B) a universal psychological experience, or C) a combination.

I saw something almost identical near Buxton about two weeks earlier! Same configuration, same colour, pulsing lights. I didn't report it because I thought people would laugh.
