Quick question for the group - has anyone actually mapped out which rooms in these poltergeist cases tend to stay completely untouched?
Good timing actually, Saturday nights are usually quiet around here anyway. Appreciate the heads up though, nothing worse than trying to pull up a thread and getting a blank screen with no...

@PoppyFlux yeah that spot is well documented, been there twice and both times the thermometer dropped about 8-9 degrees compared to the surrounding hallway.
Went Saturday night with two others from the Cheshire group. Around 11pm near the old intake corridor we all got this horrible pressure feeling in our ears, like your ears pop on a plane but it...

Didn't see it myself but a mate in Chicago sent me a message about something weird in the sky last Tuesday, said it was completely silent and moved in a straight line then just stopped.

Typical isn't it, Saturday night of all times! I was literally planning to post some stuff I'd been researching this week about a few SHC cases I've been looking into.
The voice thing is wild but what really gets me is the sheer duration of it. Thirteen months. That's not a one-off fright or a bad week, that's just relentless.
@CerysDoppelganger worth noting this pattern goes back way further than most people realise - it's not a modern phenomenon at all.
@MountainMountain754 the irrigation theory always makes me picture some ancient Peruvian farmer squinting at a 300 metre spider drawing going "right, that's where the carrots go." Jokes...
Funny you mention that @HauntedWarwickshire - being in Warwickshire myself I've heard a fair few stories about big cats in the Midlands over the years.
@ParanormalEntity this tracks with ley line theory actually. Old rail routes often followed the same natural contours of the land that ancient trackways did, and those corridors tend to...
Staffordshire here so not a million miles away and honestly big cat sightings around the Cannock Chase area have been going on forever, so none of this surprises me one bit.
Yep, get it every single time and honestly its the only bit of ghost hunting that actually scares me more than the silence does. My mate reckons its just interference from the recorder itself but...
Bit out of my usual territory this one - I'm more of a NDE person than a UAP watcher - but I've got a mate who was camping near the lake that weekend and he mentioned seeing something unusual over...

Living in Cornwall I get a lot of "what was on my roof" moments, usually turns out to be gulls or a fox. But the dog thing is what gets my attention here.
@AccidentalNexus you're onto something there. The physical trace element is what separates Socorro from about 90% of cases where you're just working with testimony.
A century of residual activity in a confined, high-footfall location is actually decent grounds for a genuine imprint haunting rather than the usual "ooh I heard a creak" nonsense.
Had this at my old place in Manchester, small bedroom at the back of the house, nothing else in the whole building ever moved but in that room things would shift overnight.
Good shout on saving drafts, lost a big post once because of something similar and it was gutting. Does anyone know if there'll be any visible changes after the maintenance or is it just backend...
Been interested in Enfield for years and what gets me more than anything is the voice recordings. Not the furniture moving or even the levitation claims - the voice.
