Did anyone else feel that cold spot near the back staircase at Waverly Hills?

Felt it on my third visit and nearly dropped my torch, that cold spot doesn't move around like a normal draught it just sits there like it owns the place. Did anyone else notice it seems colder on the left side of the staircase than the right? My EMF meter went absolutely mental at the same time which you'd expect but what I didn't expect was the smell, like damp wool or something, right before the temperature dropped. Old buildings in humid climates like New Orleans can do weird things with air circulation so I'm not ready to scream "ghost" just yet but I've hunted a fair few spots and Waverly Hills has a quality to it that's hard to explain away. Would love to know if anyone's mapped teh exact coordinates of that spot against the building layout, wondering if it might sit on a ley line intersection. Anyone done any dowsing rods up there?

@PoppyFlux yeah that spot is well documented, been there twice and both times the thermometer dropped about 8-9 degrees compared to the surrounding hallway. What gets me is that the building has a pretty predictable airflow pattern given the open structure, and that particular corner just doesn't fit any of it.

The third floor is where I noticed it worst. Some investigators have tried to map whether it shifts with time of night and the results are inconsistent which is actually more interesting than a stable cold spot if you think about it - something that moves slightly but not like a draught behaves is harder to explain away.

Worth logging the exact time when you felt it, not just the date. A few people have flagged patterns around the 2-3am window specifically near that staircase.

Never been to Waverly myself but I've read a fair bit about it - does the cold spot seem to respond at all when people talk or ask questions? I'm curious whether it's always the same intensity or if theres any variation depending on how many people are in that stairwell area at the time. Cold spots that stay fixed in one location rather than drifting are the ones that really get me wondering, because you can more or less rule out normal air movement as an explanation can't you.

Never been to Waverly but we had something almost identical at Mary King's Close here in Edinburgh - cold spot right in the same corner every single visit, no airflow, no vents nearby, just sits there being smug about it.
