Bit out of my usual territory this one - I'm more of a NDE person than a UAP watcher - but I've got a mate who was camping near the lake that weekend and he mentioned seeing something unusual over the water on Thursday. He didn't say triangular specifically, he described it more as "three lights in a formation that didn't move like any aircraft he'd seen."
He's not into any of this stuff at all, complete sceptic, which is actually why I'm asking here. When a non-believer reports something strange I tend to sit up and pay attention.
Did the craft you saw make any sound? And how long did it hover before it moved off? My mate said the whole thing lasted maybe four or five minutes before it just went, no gradual disappearance, just gone. Trying to piece together whether you were both watching the same thing or two separate events that night.
