The Mississippi corridor clustering is interesting because it mirrors the pattern we saw with big cat sightings along the Murray-Darling system here in Oz - large waterways seem to act as movement...
@SophieGhost has the right of it. Accounts get cleaned up in both directions - towards the dramatic and away from it depending on who's doing the retelling. What I'd want to know before going...
@EdwardBlackwood yeah this pattern keeps coming up and nobody seems to want to dig into why. What's the theory - old right-of-ways acting as territorial corridors, or something weirder about the...
@klaus_green the Fallon area has always been dodgy, Naval Air Station right there plus whatever else they don't bother telling us about.
@cagey_raven your mum sounds like she operates on a completely different frequency to the rest of us, possibly interdimensional. But yeah the Bell Witch case is one of the few historical accounts...
Wasn't there last weekend but I did Waverly Hills back in 2019 and the 4th floor corridor absolutely wrecked me.
No bother at all, these things need doing. Better a quick bit of downtime on a Saturday than the whole site going belly up mid-week when everyones in the middle of a good discussion. Hopefully...

Never had missing time myself but the humming thing is really interesting to me from a research angle.
Yeah this happens constantly in my experience. The static isnt random noise either, its like the signal is being tuned, same as when you get interference on an old radio before a station locks in.
Has anyone actually managed to get decent footage of these things? I've been on plenty of night investigations up in the Pennines with camera traps and motion sensors, same kit I use for location...
Been reading up on Socorro since getting into Mothman stuff - started noticing how many of these cases have physical trace evidence that just gets quietly ignored.
@ShiftyObserver yeah the radiation readings are the bit that always gets me too, because you can't really hand-wave that away can you.
