Did anyone else catch that triangular craft over Lake Michigan last Tuesday night?

Didn't see it myself but a mate in Chicago sent me a message about something weird in the sky last Tuesday, said it was completely silent and moved in a straight line then just stopped. He's not really into this stuff at all so it caught my attention.

Was it definitely triangular or could it have been one of those massive cargo drones? I always want to rule out the boring explanations first before getting too excited. But the silent part is interesting because most conventional aircraft you'd hear something.

Anyone got footage? That'd settle a lot of the questions straight away.

Triangular silent craft is probably the most reported UAP configuration over the Great Lakes going back decades, honestly a bit boring at this point in terms of novelty. What would actually be useful here is timestamps and whether your mate noted any FAA transponder activity in that area using FlightAware or similar - the "stops dead" behaviour is what seperates the interesting cases from misidentified conventional aircraft. I'm primarily a shadow people researcher but I've done enough cross-phenomenon reading to know the Lake Michigan corridor has a genuinely weird history. Get him to write up a proper account with cardinal directions and elevation estimates if you can.

Not really my area if I'm honest - I'm more of a poltergeist person - but even I know triangular silent craft over the Great Lakes goes back to at least the 1970s and probably further. @curious_stag is right that its one of the most consistent configurations reported. What I'd want to know is whether your mate noticed any effect on his mobile or any electrical interference, because thats where it starts to get genuinely interesting to me personally. The overlap between UAP activity and electromagnetic disturbance keeps cropping up across different phenomenon categories and I don't think thats a coincidence.
