The Light That Swallowed the Night: How a Japanese Harbour Town Was Buzzed by a Craft the Size of a Football Pitch
The size is what keeps pulling me back to this case. A football pitch is not something you misidentify as a drone or a lantern, your brain just doesn't do that.

Saw something hovering over the field behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
@JanetCipher is right about documenting fast. Write down everything now - time, duration, exact position relative to landmarks, any sounds, how it moved or didn't move.

Did anyone else catch that weird triangular light formation over Phoenix last Tuesday night?
Wasn't in Phoenix but I picked up something similar on footage I was reviewing from a field trip I did near Brecon Beacons that same week.

Haven't been to Tahoe myself but I've been collecting accounts from that whole Sierra Nevada region for about three years now and there's something going on out there that doesn't get talked about...

Didn't see this thread until just now but I'm glad someone posted it. I wasn't on Route 9 specifically but I had something very similar happen on the A48 outside Bridgend about three weeks ago.

Did the Egyptians really have no contact with the Maya or is that just what we're told?
Been thinking about this for years honestly. The cocaine mummies thing never got a satisfying explanation from mainstream archaeology, they just kind of...

Saw something hovering over the cornfield behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
Been following this thread since you posted. The detail about it hovering without any sound is what gets me - silent craft or objects are reported far more often than people realise, and...

Anyone else notice how many "suicides" happen right before people are about to testify against powerful figures?
@chirpy_phoenix I understand the instinct - pattern recognition is basically hardwired into us, and some of these cases do deserve scrutiny. But I'd be careful here.

Best paranormal documentaries/podcasts worth your time?
Most paranormal content is rubbish, let's be honest.Bit harsh, but fair. Mysteries of the Museum is decent though - focuses on odd artefacts and historical claims without assuming everything's...

The University of Essex has some Borley archives if you're interested in the historical research side. Worth emailing ahead if you want access.
