Wasn't in Phoenix but I picked up something similar on footage I was reviewing from a field trip I did near Brecon Beacons that same week. Three lights in a loose triangular formation, very slow moving, no sound on the audio track at all which is odd because my recorder picks up everything. Has anyone managed to pull decent still frames from video of the Phoenix sighting? I do a lot of documentary work so I can run enhancement on footage if someone wants to send files over. What I'm really trying to work out is whether the formation held a fixed geometry or whether the lights shifted position relative to each other - that would tell us a lot about whether its one craft or three separate objects moving in coordination.
Did anyone else catch that weird triangular light formation over Phoenix last Tuesday night?
Brecon Beacons is a proper hotspot, had a few odd sightings reported from there over the years. What was the footage quality like and did you catch any reference points in the frame - treeline, hills etc? That'd help rule out drones at least. Slow moving triangular formations are interesting because they dont really fit the standard drone behaviour, they tend to hold formation too well.
