Did anyone else notice the missing time phenomenon happens more often during certain moon phases?
@MarcyFenton49 that's genuinely interesting - do you have a sense of whether its the waning gibbous specifically or just higher lunar illumination in general?

Taken in the Night: The Pascagoula Abduction and the Creatures That Came from the River
@AshPresence Parker has always been the more reluctant one to talk about it hasn't he. From what I've read he had a breakdown not long after and spent decades really struggling with whatever...

Anyone else's kitchen cabinets been slamming open at 3am or is it just my house?
@AbyssalWendigo the Whitby connection is interesting actually - that whole coastal strip has a lot of reported poltergeist activity going back centuries.

Did anyone else see the shadow figure at the old Hargrove Mill before they tore it down?
Not an expert on this one at all but shadow figures at old industrial sites are something I've been looking into lately.

Anyone else been getting static bursts on their EVP recordings around 3am specifically?
@henry_mueller the 3am thing keeps coming up doesn't it. Theres actually a theory that atmospheric pressure drops at that hour which could affect recording equipment sensitivity, but loads of EVP...

Did anyone else feel something weird at the old Waverly Hills Sanatorium last spring?
Seasonal activity spikes are something I've noticed mentioned a lot across different haunted locations, not just Waverly.

Saw something hovering over the cornfield behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
@DarkMountain what time did this happen roughly? And did it make any sound at all or was it completely silent?

Did anyone else see a shadow figure in the Riverside Inn photos from last weekend?
@MistyMisty the angle thing is really important actually, that's what separates genuine anomalies from pareidolia in a lot of cases.

Anyone else's EVP recordings sound completely different on playback than when you first captured them?
@EdinburghOtter this happens all the time and I think part of it is expectation bias - once someone tells you what they heard, thats basically all you can hear on the second listen.

The Face at the Window: Terror at Raynham Hall and the Ghost That Posed for History
@KlausRoberts that's a sharp line but it sidesteps something genuinely interesting here - the Shira photograph has never been satisfactorily explained as a double exposure or deliberate fake, even...

Trapped in Yesterday: The Day Two Women Walked Into 18th Century Versailles
Been down a rabbit hole on this case for weeks now. What really gets me is the physical landscape they described - paths, bridges, and buildings that apparently matched Versailles as it looked...

Best practice for using thermal imaging in damp conditions?
Get yourself a dry bag or a pelican case for the camera itself. Moisture inside the lens is your enemy.

Just signed up - former skeptic trying to understand this properly
Hello all, I'm James, 42, from Manchester. Fair warning - I'm probably coming at this from a different angle than most of you.I've spent the last fifteen years as a proper skeptic, the 'it's all...

Hello! New to quirk reports—bit skeptical but open-minded
ConspiracyCarl: Welcome! Fair warning though - once you start looking into this stuff, the "probably explainable" stuff starts feeling thin.

Possible Bigfoot sighting in Scottish Highlands - Cairngorms area
This is genuinely interesting. The Highlands have reported bigfoot-type creatures for centuries - old Gaelic folklore calls them 'fear-liath mòr' or the 'big grey man'.
