Been reading about Spring-heeled Jack for the first time properly, and I'm genuinely uncertain what to make of it. Victorian hoaxes? Probably. Local hysteria amplified by newspapers? Possibly.
I'm hesitant to post this because it sounds completely unhinged, but I genuinely need to talk to someone who might understand.
Right, management decision here. We've noticed that a lot of our most interesting threads recently have devolved into 'believers vs skeptics' flamewars, and frankly, we reckon that's because...

Been doing some EVP work with a proper digital recorder for about three months now, and I've definitely captured some strange audio.
No, you're not overthinking it. Skinwalker Ranch territory and Bigfoot sightings are genuinely different phenomena in different categories.

Right, I've been lurking on here for ages and finally got round to buying a proper EMF metre after reading through about fifty different threads.
So everyone goes on about Rendlesham Forest like it's definitive proof of UFO visitation, but I've just read through the actual declassified statements and...
Right, I've watched this a few times now. The movement at 1:23 is interesting - that sideways jerk doesn't look like any conventional aircraft I know.
Read Aubrey Burl if you want actual scholarship on this. The astronomical alignment is real but probably less significant than we think.
The credibility of the witnesses is the crux of the argument, and it's strong. These weren't random civilians or conspiracy nuts.
The Loch Katrine area is actually quite interesting for this stuff. There's been sporadic sightings reported in the Trossachs over the years.
