when we got home that evening, we found about 40 minutes of our hike just... missing from our memories This needs more investigation. Did you check your phone's location history?
I've got a mate who works in a vaguely official capacity (can't say exactly what, but semi-government adjacent).
If you're in the Midlands, you're also close to some interesting locations - Malvern has some sightings history, and there's general activity across Shropshire and Herefordshire that doesn't get...

A591 is a main road - pretty populated. If something that size actually crossed there, other people would've seen it.
This is either a genuine paranormal sighting or the Tube is just that draining that your brain started hallucinating to cope 😅 But the detail about other passengers avoiding him unconsciously is...

I'm asking because my mate is too embarrassed. He was driving the A591 near Ambleside on September 8th, just after 5pm (dusk-ish).
Mine was Ouija board at a friend's house when I was 16. We were laughing, not taking it seriously, and the planchette started moving without anyone clearly pushing it.

Good recommendation. There's also the Netflix series 'Mysteries of the Unexplained' which covers similar ground but from a different angle.

I don't want to alarm you, but you should get blood work done. Seriously. Missing time can sometimes indicate carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty exhaust.

I went to Penney Lane Cemetery to photograph headstones (I do gravestone rubbings as a hobby) on a Tuesday afternoon in early November.

Posted this on Reddit first but figured you lot would actually take it seriously. I'm a ghillie up near Braemar, so I'm out on the hills most days.
Have you tried hypnotic regression? No offence but that's pseudoscience nonsense. The human mind is suggestible under hypnosis - you'll end up "remembering" whatever the hypnotist plants in your...
there's a woman standing at the foot of the bed Mate, that's the classic paralysis demon hallucination scenario - you were half-asleep, your brain was in weird state, anxiety/threat detection...

The search function is your friend. Type in "Rendlesham" and you'll get a hundred threads. Most of them are decent quality discussion from people who know the subject well.

Mate, that's either a proper haunting or you've both got carbon monoxide poisoning at home 😅 But seriously - missing time is wild. Have you looked into the witch trials connection?

Right, I'm going to sound mental but I need to get this down. My partner and I visited Pendle Hill on October 14th for a bit of a hike - nothing unusual, just a nice autumn walk.
It's the kind of thing you could show to a skeptical mate and they might actually sit through it This is a good test of documentary quality, actually.

This happened on September 19th, around 8:15pm, Northern Line heading southbound from King's Cross toward Clapham Common.
That's a proper gateway experience - visual apparition, family connection, confirmed by photo. Those are the ones that actually convince people because you can't rationalize them afterward.

The Highlands are brilliant for this sort of thing. So much open sky and so few people looking. There's probably all sorts of stuff happening up there that nobody ever reports.
