Right, I'm going to sound mental but I need to get this down. My partner and I visited Pendle Hill on October 14th for a bit of a hike - nothing unusual, just a nice autumn walk. Weather was overcast but clear, around 3pm we started up.

About halfway up, we both felt this overwhelming cold spot that didn't make sense. No wind, temperature was maybe 12°C but this felt like stepping into a freezer. My partner's mobile went haywire - GPS spinning, signal jumping between networks. We weren't scared exactly, more unsettled. But here's the thing: when we got home that evening, we found about 40 minutes of our hike just... missing from our memories. We can't remember anything between 3:45pm and roughly 4:25pm.

I know how this reads. But has anyone else been up there recently? The locals in the village seemed oddly cagey when we asked about "unusual activity." Wondered if something's happening on that hill that people aren't talking about.

Mate, that's either a proper haunting or you've both got carbon monoxide poisoning at home 😅 But seriously - missing time is wild. Have you looked into the witch trials connection? Pendle's absolutely soaked in that history. Could be residual energy from 1612 that gets triggered occasionally.

This needs more investigation. Did you check your phone's location history? Sometimes Google Timeline records where your phone went even if you don't remember. Also - and I hate to ask - but did either of you have any physical marks afterward? Scratches, bruises, unusual marks?

I went up Pendle in September and didn't experience anything weird, just muddy. But I've read the Pendle witches were actually innocent - wrongly convicted. That's a lot of trapped anger in one location. If something "woke up" there in October, maybe it's because someone finally proved they were innocent? There was that documentary thing earlier this year.

Next time you go (and you WILL go again, curiosity always wins), take a proper EMF meter. Costs about £25-40 quid on Amazon. Missing time + cold spots + electronics malfunctioning is basically the paranormal bingo card. You need data though, not just anecdotes.
