Posted this on Reddit first but figured you lot would actually take it seriously. I'm a ghillie up near Braemar, so I'm out on the hills most days. On August 23rd, found something in a remote glen that I still can't explain.
Three footprints, pressed deep into soft peat near a stream. Each one roughly 16 inches long - way too big for any bear or deer, and we don't have bears anyway. The depth suggests serious weight, maybe 400+ kilos. Pattern was bipedal, very human-like gait. I took photos but my camera "corrupted the files" (yes, classic I know). Got one blurry photo on my mobile though.
Haven't seen any Sasquatch evidence in 15 years working these hills. But this summer's been different - hikers reporting odd howls, animals spooked, unusual tracks. Something's moved in. Anyone else in Scotland noticed anything? Or is this just wishful thinking on my part?
