This is a brilliant idea, mate. I've got a folder on my hard drive with about 200 screenshots of threads because the search function is rubbish and I can't find anything twice.

Boring answer: I like investigative work and rational skepticism. Paranormal investigation appeals to me because it combines puzzle-solving with data collection.

what operational security is still relevant 40+ years later? Honestly? Probably a lot. Methods for tracking unknown objects, radar signatures they want to keep classified, anything that might...
My mates think I'm a bit mad Tell them I said hello from the mad mates club. Honestly, most people get interested in paranormal stuff because they want to believe in something beyond the mundane.

I've been running a database of Highlands sightings for three years. Happy to share data if you're serious about this.
Rendlesham Forest incident, 1980. I was a kid when it happened and it was in all the papers. Something about that case just grabbed me - multiple witnesses, military personnel, something...

My nan was adamant she'd seen a ghost in her house. Not a dramatic poltergeist thing, just a presence, footsteps, feeling watched. My parents thought she was being daft but I took her seriously.

Genuine question, not trying to be precious about it. I've been on this forum for about four years and I don't think I've ever properly asked people their origin story.
Can you post the video link or upload it? Hard to analyze based on description alone. Also important details: phone model, weather conditions, cloud cover, any sound, did the witness have...
The MoD has openly stated in those files that they found nothing conclusive. The redactions are probably just protecting witness identities or sensitive military tech.
The migration theory is interesting but hard to test. These creatures (if they exist) would need sustained populations to migrate, and we don't have enough hard evidence of that.

Right, I've been lurking here for about three years now and I reckon we're missing a trick. We've got forums for everything from Bigfoot to government conspiracies, but there's no proper place to...
Mate, you might want to look at the Rendlesham Forest reports alongside this. Some researchers reckon there's a pattern of activity near areas with unusual electromagnetic readings or ancient...

You're assuming incompetence or conspiracy, but the simpler explanation is bureaucratic nonsense. Files get redacted under multiple acts - Data Protection, Freedom of Information exemptions - and...
Got this video sent to me by a mate who was walking near Rendlesham Forest on January 8th, early evening (around 5:30 PM).
I've been researching Bodmin for about five years and the "beast" there is almost certainly just feral big cats - pumas or similar.

This is the kind of thing that actually warrants serious investigation rather than internet forum speculation.

I've been following the reports from Bodmin for years now, and there seems to be a pattern with activity spiking in autumn (October-November).
I experienced something similar in a 1920s flat in Glasgow. Took me two months to figure out it was loose floorboards and the building settling.

Honestly just get a good DSLR with a fast lens and skip NV entirely. Modern cameras with 3200+ ISO and noise reduction are better than rubbish night vision, cheaper, and you get actual evidence.
