Bodmin Moor Beast vs. Scottish Highland activity—anyone tracking both?

I've been following the reports from Bodmin for years now, and there seems to be a pattern with activity spiking in autumn (October-November). But I'm also seeing an uptick in Scottish Highlands sightings, particularly around Glen Coe and Cairngorms, with activity peaking in summer.

Got me thinking: are these the same creatures with migration patterns? Or completely separate populations? Obviously there's been the occasional large cat theory (escaped zoo animals, etc.) but the bipedal sighting descriptions don't really fit that.

I'm trying to map out patterns with actual dates and locations, and I'd love to know if anyone else has been doing similar work. Has anyone got archives of old reports or been doing long-term tracking in these areas?

I've been researching Bodmin for about five years and the "beast" there is almost certainly just feral big cats - pumas or similar. The hunting patterns match, the prey remains match, and we've had actual confirmed sightings of large felids in that area.

The Scottish stuff is more interesting though. Too many historical accounts (going back centuries) and sighting descriptions that don't match known animals. That's where I'd focus if I were you.

Mate, you might want to look at the Rendlesham Forest reports alongside this. Some researchers reckon there's a pattern of activity near areas with unusual electromagnetic readings or ancient sites. Not saying it's aliens, but... the geographic clustering is weird.

The migration theory is interesting but hard to test. These creatures (if they exist) would need sustained populations to migrate, and we don't have enough hard evidence of that. More likely you're seeing seasonal reporting bias - people hiking more in summer, staying indoors in winter, etc.

I've been running a database of Highlands sightings for three years. Happy to share data if you're serious about this. We've got about 40 incidents with dates, times, locations, and witness accounts. Send me a PM and we can compare notes.
