The issue with Skinwalker Ranch is that it's specifically *looking* for anomalies, which biases the interpretation.
Admin here - this has been flagged before and we're actually working on a redesign for Q2. Can't say much yet but location-based organization is definitely on the cards. Cheers for the feedback.

I watched the documentary series on Skinwalker Ranch and I'm fascinated but also sceptical about the actual scientific validity of what's happening there.
I was reading through some declassified RAF documents the other day (genuinely fascinating stuff, downloadable from the National Archives) and I'm struck by how carefully the official narrative...
There's still a lot of decay and overgrowth on the site, and it's not impossible that it hosts wildlife - deer, foxes, even escaped animals.
Used to think all of this was complete nonsense. Became a skeptic specifically to debunk paranormal claims. Been on this forum for two years arguing against believers.

Good suggestion but honestly? Half the forum would just use it to post bollocks about their local Tesco car park. We need moderation standards first.

Borley Rectory is one of the most investigated paranormal sites in England, but a lot of the "activity" there is probably suggestion and imagination.

I used to work for TfL and there's definitely weird stuff in those tunnels. Mostly explainable (old wiring, gas leaks producing visual distortions, etc.) but this one's interesting because you've...

Rendlesham is brilliant for sightings partly BECAUSE of the history. The 1980 incident created this expectation, and now people are more alert and more likely to report anything unusual.
Bioluminescence from fungi or bacteria? The London Underground is damp and has plenty of decay. I know it sounds boring compared to the excitement of paranormal activity, but it's plausible.

Found an old diary in my mum's attic when I was cleaning out her house after she died. Full of paranormal experiences she'd never mentioned.

Sleep paralysis, actually. I had a horrifying experience with it - convinced I was being attacked by something.

This happened a few weeks back and I've been debating whether to post it, but figured this is the place.
Most "orb cluster" footage I've analyzed turns out to be Chinese lanterns or party balloons. The formation, the color, the speed - all consistent with that.

Seconded. I'd love a subforum for Scottish Highlands sightings specifically. There's some proper weird stuff happening up here and it gets lost in the general chaos.
The cynical take: they're releasing the files to appear transparent while keeping the actually interesting stuff redacted. Classic government move.
Rendlesham Forest again, interesting. That area has more weirdness per square kilometer than anywhere else in England.
This is going to sound strange, so bear with me. I was visiting the Borley Rectory ruins last month (November 23rd, around 7 PM, twilight) doing some amateur photography.
