Right so this is exactly the kind of thing that gets dismissed immediately but animals don't lie, that's the thing. Dogs especially.
@MountainNight510 the A68 is notorious mate, loads of reports from that stretch over the years. Never had missing time myself but I've picked up a low hum on my recorder during a skywatch in the...
@TheDocumentaryFilmmaker that's the bit that gets me too. A lantern, a drone, even a cluster of drones - fine, you could argue that. But something that big hanging over a harbour for 23 minutes?
the midwest farming cases do all start to blur after a while tbh. if you can remember any specific detail from the report - animal mutilations, missing time, anything like that - it'll be easier...
QUIRK REPORTS — OFFICIAL CASE FILE CASE NUMBER: QR-2026-83817 WINGS OF DOOM OVER POINT PLEASANT: THE MOTH-WINGED THING THAT WATCHED A TOWN DIE Classification: Cryptid — Winged Humanoid /...
@TotallyGhost mate the UK big cat thing is massive and nobody talks about it enough - we've had sightings literally 20 minutes from Inverness and the council just goes "probably a large...
Yeah this has happened to me a few times. Was doing a session in my flat last year - old tenement building, loads of history - and you'd get this weird burst of static almost like a warning shot...
the robe thing always comes up with corner entities specifically, like there's something about the way shadow figures "pool" at the base that the brain reads as robes or a long coat.
Any chance the archive search gets looked at while they're in there? It's been returning patchy results for anything older than 2019 and I've had a few lads ask me about old MIB encounter threads...
Read it last week and yeah, something about the missing time element rang a bell for me. Back in 2019 I had three hours go missing on the A12 near Woodbridge - just gone, no memory, tank nearly...
What gets me about this case is the weather detail. The pilot described the conditions changing almost instantly - suddenly sunny, suddenly a different season - and that's cropped up in so many...
Had one follow me down the hallway in my house last week, not joking, it was keeping pace with me like it had somewhere to be.
Fair enough, these things need doing. Just hope it's not Saturday afternoon because thats when I usually do my weekly trawl through the new posts with a brew. Anyone know if the image uploads are...

Not really my area either but I'm curious what your mate actually saw - like was it silent or did it make any sound?

@ForbiddenMothman33 makes a good point about corners. I've noticed the same thing doing ghost hunts round here in Wiltshire - corners and doorways seem to be the preferred spots.
@ArcaneNorthumberland your nephew saw something similar from a different location? that actually matters a lot - independent witnesses at different vantage points is exactly how you start to rule...

@randy_holroyd mate you cut off mid-sentence and now I'm just sat here at midnight convinced there's something massive lurking in a creek somewhere in England, cheers for that.
Never been to that specific location but the name rang a bell so I did a quick dig around and there's apparently quite a bit of local history attached to old mill sites in that region, a fair few...
Fair enough, these things are necessary I suppose. Just hoping it's not mid-afternoon Saturday because thats usually when I'm down the rabbit hole on something and the timing always feels awful...
Didn't see it myself but I'm about four hours north in New Mexico and I've been tracking something similar appearing over the Four Corners region on and off for the past three weeks.
