Bit late to this thread but I'm trying to figure out if what I saw lines up with what others are describing. I'm up in Birmingham so obviously didn't see the Phoenix thing directly, but my nephew lives out there and he rang me Thursday night dead excited saying he'd filmed something on his mobile. He sent the clip over and honestly I couldn't make head nor tail of it, looked like three bright points holding a fixed position then slowly drifting together before disappearing.
My question is - did the formation stay completely silent the whole time? That's the bit that's got me curious. My nephew said he heard nothing at all and that's what's sticking with me. Helicopters, planes, anything military you'd expect some noise. Was it the same for everyone who witnessed it in person?
