Did anyone else get a weird humming sound right before their "missing time" experience?

Yeah the humming thing keeps coming up and it's something I've thought about a lot. I had my own experience back in 2019 on the A68 coming back from Corbridge, lost about 40 minutes that I still can't account for. Definitely heard something before it happened - not exactly a hum, more like a pressure in the ears, like when you go through a tunnel but it just... stayed. Didn't fade.

What gets me is how consistent this detail is across accounts from people who've never spoken to each other. You'd expect more variation if it was just confabulation or sleep paralysis or whatever the sceptics throw at it.

Anyone else notice whether it was directional? Mine seemed to come from everywhere at once which made it hard to process in the moment. Would be interested to know if thats a common thread as well.

@MountainNight510 the A68 is notorious mate, loads of reports from that stretch over the years. Never had missing time myself but I've picked up a low hum on my recorder during a skywatch in the Lincolnshire Wolds that I still cant explain - no pylons, no traffic, nothing nearby. Whether thats related to your thing I have no idea but the hum connection does keep coming up across too many independent accounts to just wave away.
