Never been to that specific location but the name rang a bell so I did a quick dig around and there's apparently quite a bit of local history attached to old mill sites in that region, a fair few industrial accidents in the 1800s which tends to correlate with the kind of residual energy people report.
What exactly did you feel? Because there's a massive difference between the cold spot / pressure sensation type experiences and the more visual or auditory stuff, and it helps narrow down what you might actually be dealing with.
I've been chasing locations across Cheshire for a couple of years now and the ones with a genuine industrial history almost always produce something on camera even when you feel nothing on the night. Have you got any photos or EVP recordings from the visit? That would be the first thing I'd want to look at before jumping to conclusions either way.
