Genuine question, not trying to be precious about it. I've been on this forum for about four years and I don't think I've ever properly asked people their origin story.
The Mandela Effect stuff freaks me out too, but I read somewhere that it's basically just false memory and our brains are terrible at storing exact details.
Been a Quirk Reports reader for about a year now, decided to finally make an account. I should introduce myself properly: I'm Sarah, 41, Scotland (Fife), and I've spent most of my adult life being...
Thermal imaging reveals absolutely nothing paranormal because there's no such thing as ghosts having distinct temperature profiles.
The Mel Meter/EMF combination is worth considering if you want one specialized tool, but honestly, a £15 basic EMF meter from Amazon does the same job.

Been reading through historical cryptozoology records and there's a mad pattern that nobody's properly discussed: June (especially around the summer solstice on 21st) seems to produce way more...
Did you feel anything else? Temperature drop? Smells? Electrical sensation? Any other physical sensations besides the hand itself? Those details matter for building a picture of what happened.
Love that Rendlesham stuff. The 1980 incident is properly fascinating. Would absolutely want to see this footage, and if your mate's serious about investigating, there's a local group that's been...
Cheers for the recommendation! Been looking for something that isn't either "ghosts are 100% real" or "everything is explainable by physics lol." This sounds like it actually uses critical thinking.
