Summer solstice creature sightings across the UK - why is June always weird?

Been reading through historical cryptozoology records and there's a mad pattern that nobody's properly discussed: June (especially around the summer solstice on 21st) seems to produce way more creature sightings than any other month.

I'm not just talking about the usual suspects - Nessie sightings in Scotland spike in June, strange big cat reports in the Lake District are mostly June/July, and there are clusters of unknown primate sightings (yes, they happen in the UK) around late June all across the country.

My theory: the solstice represents maximum solar energy and it does something to either the creatures themselves (making them more active/visible) or to our perception (making us more likely to see them). There's a window when whatever these things are, they're more present.

Has anyone actually investigated during summer solstice specifically? Or noticed the June spike in your own sightings records?

June spike is simple - more people are outdoors in good weather doing activities where they encounter wildlife. Better daylight hours, warmer temperatures, more hiking, camping, fishing. You're more likely to see cryptids when you're actually spending time in the wilderness.

Solstices have documented effects on animal behaviour - birds migrate differently, some creatures become more nocturnal or vice versa, electromagnetic fluctuations affect migration patterns. Could be that existing unknown creatures are simply more active/visible during these periods, following natural biological cycles we don't fully understand.

I've got records of at least 15 major lake monster sightings in June across Scotland and the Lake District going back 40 years. The pattern is real. Whether it's solstice-related or just seasonal activity, I don't know, but it's definitely a thing. I'm planning a dedicated investigation in June 2024.

unknown primate sightings

These are almost certainly escaped primates from zoos or private collections. There have been documented escapes - it's not a huge leap to assume some never got recaptured. Seasonal migration patterns would explain why some years see clusters. That's not cryptozoology, that's just wildlife management failure.
