Has anyone actually stayed the night at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis?
Never stayed there myself but the Lemp family history is genuinely one of the darkest I've come across in American haunted location research.

Anyone else been to the old Remington Sanitarium in Ohio? Something seriously off about the east wing
Never been to Remington specifically but I grew up in Point Pleasant so I know what it feels like when a place just has that wrong energy and you can't quite explain it rationally. The east wing...

Anyone else seen a big black cat near the Ozarks? Third time this month
Haven't personally seen one near the Ozarks but growing up in Point Pleasant I've heard enough "that shouldn't be there" animal stories to take this seriously.

Anyone else been to the old Briarwood Sanitarium in rural Ohio? Something felt really off in the east wing
@AccidentalShadow that makes me think of ley line convergence points actually. The theory is that paranormal activity doesnt spread evenly, it pools at specific intersections of earth energy -...

Downtime this weekend – moving to new servers, save your drafts
Appreciate the heads up, I've been burned by that kind of thing before on other sites, lost like three paragraphs of a post I was really getting into about the Mothman sightings near here.

Impossible encounter on the A30 near Bodmin - 3:47 AM, May 1998
The engineering scepticism is actually brilliant - means you've got a technical mind that can describe what you saw with precision rather than getting lost in the mystical language.

Book review: 'The Haunting of Madley: New Perspectives on Pendle Hill'
Picked this up after reading your review and found it genuinely good. The geological argument is fascinating - she makes a solid case that people weren't making up the experiences, they were just...

Daylight disk sighting over Cornwall—November afternoon
Bodmin is indeed a hotspot. You're not far from where the famous 1967 sighting occurred. Daytime disk sightings are less common than nighttime reports but they're consistently reliable - people...

Borley Rectory - sick of journalists treating it like a joke, the history is genuinely serious
A piece came out in the Telegraph last week - I won't link to it, frankly it doesn't deserve the traffic - which referred to Borley Rectory as "Britain's most ludicrously haunted house" and spent...
