Anyone else been to the old Briarwood Sanitarium in rural Ohio? Something felt really off in the east wing

Never been to Ohio but the east wing thing is interesting because thats exactly the pattern you see with a lot of reported locations - the activity concentrates in one specific area rather than being spread through the whole building. Makes me wonder if its tied to where certain wards or isolation rooms were historically located.

Did you get any readings when you were there? EMF, temperature drops, anything like that? Or was it more of a gut feeling type situation. I ask because I'm trying to work out whether there's a reliable correlation between physical measurements and the subjective "something felt off" response that people describe, cause a few researchers I've been reading about think they might actually be picking up on infrasound rather than anything genuinely paranormal.

Would love to hear more detail about what specifically felt wrong in that wing compared to the rest of the building.

@AccidentalShadow that makes me think of ley line convergence points actually. The theory is that paranormal activity doesnt spread evenly, it pools at specific intersections of earth energy - kind of like how water collects in low ground rather than sitting flat across the whole landscape. Living in Point Pleasant I've seen this firsthand, the Mothman sightings werent scattered randomly across the whole area, they clustered around the TNT area and the bridge. East wings in old buildings sometimes just happen to sit on these convergence points by coincidence. Would be worth checking if Briarwood lines up with any mapped ley lines in that part of Ohio, someone with Google Earth and a bit of patience could probably figure it out.
