Haven't personally seen one near the Ozarks but growing up in Point Pleasant I've heard enough "that shouldn't be there" animal stories to take this seriously. We had the Mothman thing obviously but there were always reports of big cats too, way outside any known range.
Third time in a month is interesting because that rules out a one-off misidentification. You're either seeing the same animal on a regular circuit, or there's more than one.
What I'd look into is whether the sightings track along any specific corridor - rivers, ridgelines, that kind of thing. Big cats follow prey and terrain, not random paths. Also worth checking if anyone nearby has reported missing livestock, that often goes unreported but its a pretty solid indicator something unusual is in the area.
Anyone else on here from Missouri or Arkansas? Would love to know if the sightings cluster in a particular spot or if they're spread out.
