is there still paranormal activity there? The land remembers what happened there, I reckon. Some places are just... marked.

Borley is tricky because so much of the early documentation is disputed. Harry Price's investigation in the 1930s is now considered partially fraudulent by some researchers.
Welcome to the club! I saw something very similar near Bodmin Moor in 2019. The silence is the thing that sticks with people - that's what gets to you.

Welcome! Great to have another Yorkshire member. We're fairly active up north. I'd recommend starting with 'Sightings & Reports' to get a sense of what the community discusses, then maybe...

I'm still processing what happened to me and I need to write it down, even if it sounds completely unbelievable.
Excellent post. I'd add: bring binoculars as well as doing naked-eye observation. 10x50s are the gold standard for UAP work - good light gathering, stable enough without a tripod.
I visited in 2019 with a small investigation group. Honestly? Nothing remarkable happened. We did EMF readings, thermal imaging, the lot. Nada. But the feeling of the place is genuinely eerie.

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and very glad to have found a community that takes this stuff seriously without being completely unhinged.

I've been researching Borley Rectory in Essex for a project and I'm curious whether anyone on the forum has visited recently or has any updated information.
Mate, have you checked if you're near any military installations? RAF Fylingdales is on the North York Moors and they do all sorts of testing. Could've been a drone test.

I felt something similar on the Piccadilly Line around late September. Couldn't put my finger on it but I literally got off two stops early because the pressure was making me nauseous.

Be careful with EVP work in active stations. You might be picking up actual radio interference, machinery hum, or other environmental noise.

Right, I know how this sounds but I've got to tell someone or I'll lose my mind. My mate Dave and I were doing a sponsored walk on Halloween (raising money for the local hospice, if anyone cares)...
The Underground is absolutely rife with spiritual activity - it's built on thousands of years of human trauma and death. But a spike in the last couple of months?

As we're heading into the darkest part of the year, I thought I'd share what I've learned from five winters of serious skywatching.
I'm not a professional medium - just someone who's always been sensitive to presences - and I've noticed something odd around central London for the past two months or so. It's hard to describe.
MoD won't do anything with this, just so you know. They officially claim they don't track UFOs and all sightings are either misidentifications or weather phenomena.

Get some video footage. Set your phone up overnight pointing at the cupboards. You won't believe how useful that is for investigation.

Could be subsidence or movement in the building structure causing the doors to pop open when the wood shifts. Hackney's got some old Victorian terraces with dodgy foundations.

The video quality is too compressed to draw any real conclusions. You'd need the original uncompressed footage, metadata from the camera, and ideally corroborating footage from other angles.
