Seven feet tall? Mate, that's basically an unusually tall man. How did you rule out human? The Peak District gets loads of hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

For me: verified skeletal remains or genetic material. Everything else is speculation. I'm not claiming creatures don't exist because we lack evidence - I'm claiming we don't have sufficient...
The problem is that believers and skeptics talk past each other. Believers see skeptics as dismissive. Skeptics see believers as credulous.

The 'just disappeared' bit is worth noting. Did it actually vanish, or did it go behind the hills? Because saying it disappeared sounds more dramatic than saying it went out of your line of sight,...

Consistent, detailed eyewitness testimony from credible sources (scientists, trained observers, multiple independent witnesses) combined with circumstantial evidence (tracks, scat, habitat...

The threshold question is brilliant because it reveals that 'believers' and 'skeptics' are often operating from completely different epistemological frameworks. Skeptics want material evidence.

Right, this happened about three weeks ago and I'm still genuinely unsettled. I live alone in a flat in Hackney, nothing too unusual about the place.
This is exactly the sort of report we need more of. The UK has a long history of large bipedal creatures - Spring-heeled Jack, the Shug Monkey, various moorland entities.

Also important: keep a detailed log of when incidents occur, what's thrown, what triggers them if anything seems to. Dates, times, weather, what family members were doing, everything.

If I was an alien I'd be well annoyed.Honestly this made my day. They probably have proper documentation of their visit and it's absolutely crystal clear on whatever intergalactic storage system...

Best theory I've heard is that they deliberately avoid densely populated areas because they don't want mass panic.
has anyone got actual knowledge about what serious researchers think they've found at Skinwalker? There was a paper published a few years back by some astrophysicists who'd done preliminary work...
Bodmin Moor gets quite a bit of military traffic actually - there's RAF Prideaux and various training routes from other bases.

The silent part is interesting - that rules out most conventional aircraft. The triangular shape though... could be a Stealth bomber.

I think you're right for probably 80% of cases. But that remaining 20%? That's where it gets interesting. Not everything's explained. Some phenomena don't fit the boxes we've built.

Did you take any photos? That's the first thing everyone asks, I know. No offense meant, just... we need evidence. Your account is detailed but anecdotal. What was the weather like?

I think you're setting the bar impossibly high with that requirement. Most undiscovered large species aren't 'undiscovered' because they don't exist - they're undiscovered because they're elusive,...
