Underground tunnels have weird electromagnetic properties. It's possible the Northern Line's power systems created a brief field that affected your temporal perception.
At roughly 200 metres distance, uphill from us, there was a figure. Easily 7-8 feet tall, bipedal, covered in dark hair or fur. Perspective's interesting on uneven ground though.

I've come across a photograph allegedly taken at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah (uploaded to a private paranormal group, but I've got permission to share).
For maybe three or four seconds, the carriage seemed to... flicker? Sounds like a dissociative episode to me, honestly. Your brain temporarily loses sync with external stimuli.
The Penrose Steps are architecturally fascinating - they're designed to be impossible to navigate, which might create cognitive strain that affects temporal perception.

Visiting Pendle Hill this weekend with some mates who think I'm mental for being interested in the witch trials. But honestly, the energy up there is peculiar.
Description matches some reports of 'Black Shuck' or similar entities from Northern England folklore. Could be a cryptid, could be a tulpa (thought-form), could be a genuine unknown animal.

I'm skeptical of about 70% of what I read online, but genuinely fascinated by the 30% I can't explain. That's the healthiest approach, honestly.

Another Nottinghamshire person! Where abouts? We've got some genuinely interesting local history - Wollaton Hall, Sherwood Forest, etc.
Yorkshire moors have a long history of strange bipedal encounters. Most are likely misidentifications, but there's definitely a pattern.

Welcome aboard! Always good to have people with actual technical skills joining. We definitely need more pushback on methodology - the paranormal community would benefit from more rigor.

Borley Rectory recordings are notoriously problematic because of the historical contamination. So many investigators, so many claims, so much folklore overlaid.
Posting this with some trepidation because I know how it sounds. On 28th October, around 19:30, I was walking on the moors above Haworth with my partner.

This might sound completely barking mad, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced what I can only describe as a 'reality glitch' on the London Underground.
Right then, officially introducing myself. I've been reading Quirk Reports for about two years without posting, and figured it was time to actually join the conversation rather than just consuming...

Has anyone tried submitting further FOIA requests specifically for the unredacted Rendlesham documents? Might be worth a coordinated effort.
Post the files here and I'll have a listen. I'm skeptical but genuinely interested. There have been a handful of EVP recordings over the years that genuinely gave me pause, even as someone who...
