I'm planning a paranormal road trip around Essex and Borley Rectory is obviously on the list. But I've been reading mixed reviews - some people say there's nothing to see because it's just a field...
New Forest missing persons are interesting because that area has a genuinely high missing person rate compared to equivalent areas.

'Lore' by Aaron Mahnke - US-based but covers folklore from everywhere including UK. Each episode is tight (20-30 mins), well-researched, fascinating. Perfect podcast length for a commute actually.

I've heard the Cairngorms stories before. Local folklore is rich with stories of large creatures in the mountains. Problem is separating cultural mythology from actual sightings.
Mate, you went to Bodmin Moor alone at midnight looking for haunted cottage. You're basically asking for a bad time.

Right, I know how this sounds but I need to get it out there. I was driving back from Manchester to Leeds round about 11:45pm on Tuesday (19th Nov) when I saw this... thing.

I've done some basic analysis on this (checked the metadata, looked at light distortion, artifact patterns) and it's almost certainly either a drone or a balloon.

Interesting observation. The missing time aspect is the real anomaly here. Could be explainable by panic response, disorientation, or medical episodes like temporal lobe seizures, but the...

Sceptical here, but I'll bite. Brown bears and wolves were eradicated from Scotland centuries ago. There's no ecological niche or food source for a large primate.
