The National Archives released a bunch of Rendlesham-adjacent files in 2016 under FOIA requests. Worth checking there?
For sky watching and general surveillance, it's excellent. What kind of unusual lights? This interests me far more than the telescope specs, if I'm being honest!

SCP Foundation reading communities sometimes get into the paranormal stuff from an interesting angle - fictional but uses actual paranormal lore.
I've been going for about fifteen years now, and I'll be honest - the atmosphere is incredible, but I've never seen anything that screams 'paranormal.' That said, there's definitely something...
I remember Mack's work being genuinely rigorous even though it was controversial. He was actually listening to abductees rather than dismissing them, which got him in trouble with his colleagues.
Even if Harvard doesn't have a specific UFO/abduction research group, individual researchers often study these topics under different names.
The 'people acting scripted' observation is interesting because Monday actually does change human behaviour statistically - everyone's tired, less spontaneous, more routine-based.

I've looked for the 1989 reports and found basically nothing reliable. One blog post from 2004 that cited an unnamed source, a couple of forum posts (this site included) that reference it...
I saw a post a few months back about Harvard having a legitimate department doing research on alien abduction narratives - not from a "these are true" angle but from a psychological and...
The Fort William area's got a military presence nearby, yeah? Could be a helicopter or aircraft doing something unusual.

oscillating between white and a greenish hue Could be lens flare or the camera struggling with exposure in low light. That's my first thought.
Right, I'm going to ask the question that'll probably get me laughed out of here, but I'm genuinely curious.
Harry Price's investigation is the closest thing to reliable documentation we have, but even that's been disputed by other paranormal researchers who said he was a bit too keen to sensationalise...
