There's a new piece in the Guardian (paywalled but summary's on their site) about paranormal tourism becoming the UK's "next big thing." They've interviewed people visiting Pendle Hill, Pendle...

Mine is that I think the Mandela Effect is actually evidence of parallel universe bleeding through rather than just collective false memory. I mention it as a joke but I genuinely believe it.

The Loch Ness area has loads of UFO activity historically. There's probably something about that location specifically - either a physical geographic feature that attracts phenomena, or just...
This happened about 3 AM last Wednesday (12th Nov) in my flat in Hackney, and I've not slept properly since.
The divorce factor is worth taking seriously - poltergeist activity often clusters around emotionally turbulent teenagers or young adults.

We've been experiencing poltergeist activity in our semi-detached in Headingley since early October. Started with small things - keys going missing, doors slamming - but last month escalated.
Right, we're all here because we're interested in this stuff, but let's be honest - there's something we each believe that we'd never mention down the pub.

For solstice work specifically, I'd suggest investing a bit more in your audio setup. Better quality recordings mean better EVP analysis.

Mate, I'd genuinely recommend keeping a log of the magnetic sensitivity stuff. Note down dates, times, locations, how intense it is.

Don't forget the basics: proper winter clothing (you'll be useless if you're freezing), a fully charged mobile in case you need emergency services, a mate with you (always investigate in pairs at...

This is genuinely interesting. I'd love to see a map of where exactly you were when you spotted it. There's probably a Bigfoot research group in Scotland who'd be interested in cataloguing the...

I'm certain I was on that hill for at least four hours. This is the thing though - how certain can you really be?
Did your brother take any photos or video? You said you got your phone out but the creature had vanished by then - did he manage to capture anything?

The helicopter activity is worth investigating separately from the access restrictions. Military helicopters operating in rural areas happen constantly, but if you've specifically documented...
For solstice specifically, invest in proper grounding/shielding equipment (Faraday pouch for your devices is about £20), good batteries (buy quality ones, cheap batteries die immediately in cold),...

I see a lot of gear marketed to paranormal investigators that seems like complete nonsense This is absolutely true. So much of it is just regular equipment rebranded at 300% markup.

That budget is tight for good kit. Honestly you could pick up a used thermal camera for about £150-200 on eBay (last year's models) which would give you way more useful data than separate...

My nan loves watching these shows and now she thinks every creak in her house is a ghost. So from that perspective, I think they're irresponsible. They prey on older people's fears.
