The jumping motion rules out satellites and most conventional aircraft. Drones can move like that but drones have multiple lights and you'd hear them outdoors in a quiet area.
Have you experienced any other symptoms beyond the electrical issues? Unexplained cold spots, sleep disturbances, feelings of being watched?

I've been up Pendle maybe twenty times and never experienced anything. Though I did chat to a local in the pub (Barley Mow, brilliant beer by the way) who mentioned that certain spots are avoided...
The 3am brain is a different creature. You read something mildly spooky at 3am and suddenly it's absolutely terrifying. Read the same thing at noon and you're like "yeah that's probably just wind" 😅

I'm near Fort William and I saw something similar on August 3rd, so just after your sighting. Completely stationary light, very bright, didn't move though. Lasted about five minutes.

The temperature thing could be geological - certain rock formations and cave systems release cold air. That said, Pendle's reputation is earned.
