Right, so I've been digging through the National Archives website (yes, I know, thrilling Friday night) and found some newly released FOI documents relating to the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident.
The witch trial history is all very dramatic but a lot of the actual events happened in villages around the hill, not on it. The hill itself is more of a vantage point.

I was there in May and honestly didn't experience anything unusual. Bit atmospheric, yeah, but that could just be the history and suggestion doing the work on your brain.

That said, Stonehenge and several other major sites DO have verifiable astronomical alignments that would've been incredibly difficult to achieve by accident.
The Loch Ness area has had paranormal reports for centuries. Not just the monster - lights, strange phenomena. Your sighting fits the historical pattern.

The problem is confirmation bias. If you look at enough stones and enough dates, you'll find alignments by pure probability. The stones that DON'T align don't get written about.
I was up there in August and it was dead quiet to be honest. No EMF spikes, no unusual activity, just a nice walk up a hill. Though the weather was beautiful, which might've affected things.

That said, recurring vivid dreams where you're recognizing real-world details are worth paying attention to. Not necessarily paranormal, but psychologically significant.

Check if anyone else reported it that night. UFO database sites have sightings searchable by location and date. If this was genuine, there's likely other reports from the area that same night.
