Has anyone investigated Pendle Hill lately? Activity levels?

I'm planning a paranormal investigation trip in November and I'm considering Pendle Hill in Lancashire as a location. The whole area's got such a dark history - the witch trials and everything that came before - but I'm curious if anyone's done recent investigations there.

I've been twice before (2019 and 2021) and both times I picked up unusual EMF spikes near the summit and the surrounding forest. But nothing dramatic - nothing I could definitively call paranormal as opposed to just being up a big hill with weird geology.

Has anyone been recently? Is it still worth investigating? I'm considering bringing a small team and doing a proper overnight investigation with full equipment. Just want to know what to expect and if people have recorded anything interesting in the last year or so.

I was up there in August and it was dead quiet to be honest. No EMF spikes, no unusual activity, just a nice walk up a hill. Though the weather was beautiful, which might've affected things. I've heard paranormal activity is supposedly stronger when the weather's poor - more atmospheric pressure differential or something.

The witch trial history is all very dramatic but a lot of the actual events happened in villages around the hill, not on it. The hill itself is more of a vantage point. If you're investigating, you might get better results in Pendle village or around Malkin Tower location.

I'd say go for it. Worst case scenario you get a nice walk up a hill and some fresh air. Best case, you collect some proper data about paranormal activity in a historically significant location. Even null results are useful - they narrow down where activity is concentrated.

Make sure you've got permission from whoever owns the land, and do it safely. November on Pendle can get properly rough - wind, low visibility, temperature drops. Make sure someone knows where you are and when you'll be back.

The whole county of Lancashire is quite active paranormally if you believe the reports. Pendle's just the most famous location. Have you considered other sites in the area while you're up there?
