I still haven't fully processed what happened to me three weeks ago and I'm hoping someone here might have experience with this. I was driving from Bodmin towards Liskeard around 10:30pm on the 23rd, completely clear night, barely any traffic. I remember passing a particular stone marker - I know this road really well.

Next thing I properly remember is being further up the road near Liskeard, and my clock said it was 11:47pm. I had no memory of that 77-minute gap. My fuel gauge was lower than it should've been for that distance, and I had this awful metallic taste in my mouth that lasted hours.

I didn't see anything, don't remember any lights or sounds, but something is definitely wrong. I've never experienced anything like this. I'm not mad, I'm not on drugs, and I'm genuinely quite frightened by the implications here.

This is a proper missing time case. Have you checked for any physical marks on your body? Abductees sometimes report small puncture marks or unusual bruising. Also get yourself checked by a doctor - blood work might reveal something unusual. And get your car checked too - any electronics acting weird?

Bodmin's got a lot of history with strange incidents hasn't it? I'm not trying to sound flaky but that whole area has got something off about it. The moor's got a reputation. Not trying to scare you but you're definitely not the first person to report weird stuff in that location.

Could you have just zoned out? Driving on a familiar route at night, your brain kind of goes into autopilot and you don't remember stretches of the journey. I've done this loads on the M25. Come to 77 minutes later with no recollection.

Have you tried hypnotic regression? There are specialists who work with abduction cases. If something genuinely happened during that missing time, regression might help recover the memories. I can recommend someone if you want.

I had no memory of that 77-minute gap.
How certain are you of the time gap? Could the clock have been wrong? Or could you have stopped somewhere and just not remembered stopping? I'm asking seriously, not trying to be dismissive.

The metallic taste is interesting. Several documented abductees report that. Combined with missing time and the location (Bodmin's a hotspot), I'd say you might have something genuinely unusual here. Document everything. Keep a journal of any dreams, any marks, any weirdness that follows.
