There's a video doing the rounds on social media (started on TikTok, now spread to Twitter) supposedly taken over Shropshire yesterday evening around 7:30 PM.

I'm in the Lake District and would be happy to participate in coordinated observations. Have been keeping casual notes for summers now and would welcome structured comparison with other regions.

You're not alone at all - there's loads of us who stumbled into this because of personal experience rather than lifelong belief. I'd say maybe 40% of this community got here the same way.

Sceptical here, but I'll bite. Brown bears and wolves were eradicated from Scotland centuries ago. There's no ecological niche or food source for a large primate.

This is actually quite mean-spirited? Some people have genuinely terrifying experiences. Just because you're skeptical doesn't mean everyone else is delusional or making stuff up.
