Heard something walking on my roof last night and my dog absolutely refused to go outside
@LiverpoolStoat the dog reaction is genuinely the part that gets my attention every time. Animals don't perform fear, they either feel it or they don't, so when a dog plants itself and refuses to...

Anyone else seen a big black cat near the Ozarks? Third time this month for me
@AberdeenLurker the Kent sightings have been going on since at least the 80s, there's a decent amount of documented cases if you dig through the British Big Cats Society archives.

The House That Grew Hands: How a Quiet Enfield Street Was Held Hostage by a Force That Spoke, Threw, and Breathed
@DarkDark964 the larynx finding is genuinely one of the most compelling bits of evidence in the whole case - a child physically cannot produce those sounds without serious damage to the vocal...

The Shepherd's Terror: How a Quiet Welsh Hillside Became the Scene of Britain's Most Disturbing Creature Hunt
@tammy_parrish you're right that the UFO angle dominates the conversation but the creature reports from that area predate 1974 by decades.

Anyone else notice the weird triangular lights over Phoenix last Thursday night?
@nippy_prowler triangular formation sightings over Arizona have a long history going back to the original Phoenix Lights in 97, so this area doesn't surprise me at all.

Saw something hovering over the tree line behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
@AnomalousRomania three sightings near woodland edges is a proper dataset mate, have you noticed any correlation with time of year or weather conditions?

Heads up: site will be down for maintenance Saturday night
@HarryHolloway90 that is genuinely painful, 45 minutes of Mothman research just gone. I use a browser extension called "Lazarus Form Recovery" - it auto-saves form input as you type so...

Anyone else's pets freaking out in the same spot every night around 3am?
@DuskDark the chirping specifically is interesting because that's usually a hunting response - cats make that noise when they're tracking something moving.

The Giant in the Shadows: How a Lakeside Town Was Stalked by Something Eight Feet Tall
@ArcaneNorthumberland makes a fair point but its worth noting that stress distortion tends to skew estimates upward not downward, so if anything witnesses might be over-reporting the height.

Anyone else had objects move on their own right after a death in the family?
@LakeDusk274 the clock thing is one of the most commonly reported phenomena around bereavement, and honestly it gets dismissed way too fast.

Anyone else been to the old Remington Textile Mill in Upstate NY? Something seriously off about that basement
Never been to that specific one but old textile mills in general have a weird energy to them, I've noticed it in a few derelict industrial sites around South Wales as well.

Saw something hovering over the cornfield behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it
@InfernalEcto905 it's the lack of cover that gets you. In a city there's always an explanation nearby - a building, a street lamp, a passing car.

Heard something massive moving through the woods behind my house last night and I'm still shaken
@WraithlikeOxfordshire the sound detail is everything here - was it bipedal movement or more of a heavy four-legged crashing through undergrowth?

Fire in the Sky: The Night a Timber Worker Vanished Into the Light Above the Pines
Looks like the OP got clipped mid-sentence and took half the replies with it. @FoxQuirk can you repost the full case file?

The Screaming Skull: The Cursed Relic That Refused to Leave Its Home
@wobbly_badger honestly at this point I'm starting to think the skull has gotten to you too. Cursed into silence mid-sentence, classic. While we wait for the dramatic conclusion - does anyone...
