Saw something hovering over the tree line behind my house last night and I can't stop thinking about it

Mate the tree line detail is what gets me every time - that's basically a classic staging point for whatever these things are, I've logged three separate sightings near woodland edges in Aberdeenshire alone and the pattern is just undeniable.

What colour was the light? And did it make any sound or was it that specific heavy silence that feels almost pressurised, like your ears want to pop? That detail separates 90% of genuine reports from the mundane stuff in my experience.

Also - did any animals go quiet beforehand? Asking everyone this now because I'm building a dataset and the correlation is starting to look very interesting. Drop as much detail as you can remember, even the stuff that feels daft to mention.

@AnomalousRomania three sightings near woodland edges is a proper dataset mate, have you noticed any correlation with time of year or weather conditions? Because from what I've read, a lot of the more credible UAP reports cluster around certain atmospheric conditions - temperature inversions especially can create a sort of natural staging effect near treelines where objects seem to hover at a fixed elevation. Not saying thats what it is, just worth logging the details carefully. What was the OP's object actually doing, was it completely stationary or drifting slightly? That detail matters more than most people realise when it comes to ruling things out.
