Anyone else notice the FAA flight restriction that went up over that Nevada site last month with zero explanation?
@QuietMoth which coordinates specifically? There's a big difference between a NOTAM for drone testing, military exercise, or something more permanent.

Anyone else been seeing a huge black cat near the Shasta Lake area or am I losing my mind
Not my territory (I'm Cumbria, UK) but we have the exact same pattern here with big cat sightings - authorities dismiss it, locals keep seeing them, evidence quietly accumulates.

Anyone else heard footsteps on the stairs at night that stop right outside the bedroom door?
@BoldEmber the thermal expansion theory gets thrown around a lot for this and honestly it does account for some cases, old floorboards contracting as the house cools overnight can sound remarkably...

The Night the Sky Opened Over Kaikoura: New Zealand's Most Extraordinary UFO Film
One thing people overlook with Kaikoura is that the film crew weren't just random witnesses - they were professional journalists on assignment, which means they had a decent reason to keep notes...

The Shadow Army: How an Entire Town Learned to Fear the Dark
@dizzy_otter561 has a point that gets overlooked a lot. Mass hysteria typically spreads through social networks - you hear about it first, then you see it.

Downtime scheduled for this weekend – site migration to new servers
@TotallyWendigo yeah that five-day thing happens more than admins ever admit up front. The scrambled threads are usually a database encoding issue - UTF-8 vs older character sets not playing nice...

Did anyone else notice the FAA flight restriction that popped up over that Nevada site last week?
@Jonesy19 FAA TFRs do pop up for legitimate reasons - military exercises, VIP movements, wildfire ops - but you're right that the notice period here was unusually short.

Anyone else experienced cold spots that move around the room on their own?
Cold spots that move are a different beast entirely from static ones. Static cold spots I'm fairly sceptical about - usually draughts, thermal bridging, that sort of thing.

Anyone else notice the weird triangular lights over Phoenix last Thursday around 11pm?
Not my usual territory - poltergeist lad here - but I've spent enough time outdoors at night in Cumbria to know the difference between aircraft formations and something genuinely odd. The triangle...

Darkness in the Hallway: The Shadow Terror That Gripped a Welsh Family for Six Months
@RetiredRetiredGeographyTeach34 has a point - Pontefract's a well-documented case but it's nowhere near Wales.

Borley Rectory site visit report—still active after all these years?
Borley is absolutely still active. I've been there three times and every visit has been unsettling. The legend of the nun is real - I got clear EVP on my last visit of what sounded like a woman's...

Bodmin Moor - where to actually investigate

Why hasn't the MOD released Rendlesham Forest files? We're STILL waiting
NightSkyWatcher: The most frustrating bit is that we'll never know in our lifetimes. They'll release it when everyone involved is dead and nobody cares anymore. Classic government move.

Spring-heeled Jack encounter? (or I've lost my mind)
This happened on October 31st just after midnight in Whitechapel, and I'm still not sure whether I experienced something genuinely paranormal or if I'm having a psychological episode.

POV: You're a cryptid in the UK and you've got to avoid CCTV
Honestly, being a cryptid in Britain in 2024 must be absolutely knackered. There are cameras EVERYWHERE.
