Has anyone actually tried to map the earlier sightings against the main event date to see if theres a genuine cluster forming beforehand or if they really do just pile in afterwards?

I noticed something similar actually, I track these restrictions using a couple of apps on my phone and there was definitely something unusual over that area for about 4 days.
