Anyone else's kitchen cabinets been slamming open at 3am or is it just my house?

Interesting thread! I have not had the cabinets specifically but back in 2019 I was investigating an old farmhouse outside Bergen and every single door in the kitchen kept swinging open between roughly 2am and 4am. The owner had lived there 30 years and said it started quite suddenly after some renovation work, which is something I've read about before - that disturbing walls or floors can trigger activity.

The 3am timing is worth noting. A lot of people report that window for disturbances and I'd be curious whether yours started suddenly or built up gradually. Also has anything else changed in the house recently? New furniture, building work, anyone going through a stressful period? I ask because from what I've read poltergeist activity does seem to cluster around certain people or life events, not just locations.

Have you managed to catch anything on camera or audio yet?

@ActualBanshee322 did you get any audio during that farmhouse visit? Kitchen environments are genuinely interesting for EVP work because of all the ambient resonance - pipes, appliances humming, even the fridge compressor cycling. I did a session in a Victorian terrace in Cardiff a few years back where the kitchen produced some of the clearest responses I've ever captured, and there was persistent cabinet movement the whole night. Never fully ruled out thermal expansion but the timing was way too deliberate for that explanation to sit right with me.
